Georgian Aviation University
The Georgian Aviation University is the only Aviation University located in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Aviation Institute of Georgia was founded in 1992, in the structure of Georgian Technical University. However, In 2005, the Aviation Institute got down from the Technical University and became Independent Georgian Aviation University. The university has several type of aircraft for students, such as: A-22, Cessna-152, Piper Seneca and Boeing 737-200.
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
The Faculty Engineering provides 1 Doctoral, 1 graduate, 5 undergraduate and 2 vocational education programs in Georgian and English languages. After graduation of Aircraft Technical Exploitation” educational programs students are able to get B1.1 or B2 technician licenses. Georgian Language educational programs are accredited/reaccredited in 2020 and English Language educational programs are authorized/reauthorized in 2021.
