Word From Our Director

Dr.Amal Santhosh is an alumnus of V.N. Karazina Kharkiv National Medical University, Ukraine.

I extend a warm welcome on behalf of The Meridian Edu family, to all our future doctors and their families. I thank you for your interest in letting us join you in fulfilling your dreams. Even before I officially established The Meridian Edu in 2016, my vision was to create an organization working on behalf of medical students to guide, support, and educate them towards accomplishing their shared dreams of successfully completing their medical education abroad and becoming qualified to practice medicine in India or any other country they chose. It was a pleasant dream and bringing it to reality, although an incredibly difficult and challenging task, has taught me a lot and helped define me as a person.

I had personally gone through the experience most FMGs used to have, and a change in the system was definitely needed. The first few years of our work had prepared us to deal with common and unforeseen issues that come up while managing large numbers of students and making their pathway to a Medical License as uncomplicated as possible, but with time our challenges grew and we saw no other way but to grow with them. Among the greater difficulties we successfully overcame are the worldwide COVID pandemic, the fast changing NMC laws, the implementation of NExT and more recently, the Ukraine crisis. We look forward to continue solving problems in these dynamic and evolving crisis times while still holding true to our core values.

Our next defining step of establishing our own Medical University abroad is already being managed and close to establishment. The practical goal of our own new University is to maximize Medical Licensure Exam success rates, ensure high quality rotatory clinical practice and maintain continuous doctor-patient exposure for our students. We will be working alongside a group of brilliant doctors, highly qualified instructors, and skilled technical support personnel to give you the greatest study experience possible.

I wish to end by saying once more that the team at The Meridian Edu is fully prepared and equipped to handle all of your needs with attention to detail and care. We are very excited to work with all of you and I would like to personally congratulate you on your decision to become a life-saving medical professional.
